Vis is a Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea, located off the coast of Dalmatia. In the town of Vis, remains of the old town wall can still be seen, as well as a thermal bath.

The hilly island of Vis, situated about 60 km from the Dalmatian mainland, is the island in the region of Dalmatia that is furthest from the mainland. The 90 km² large island is known for its beautiful beaches, bays and for olive and wine growing.

Fantastic beaches and bays, like the bay Stiniva, interesting diving spots, crystal clear sea, surrounding small islands with natural spectacles, like the „Blue Grotto“ on Bisevo or the „Green Grotto“ on Ravnik are only some highlights the island has to offer.
